Our story
Built around one idea: a door has to perform when it matters
Daoud & Michael Jada Co. manufactures fire-rated, security and specialist doors for hospitals, industry, government and commercial buildings in Jordan and across the Middle East and North Africa.
Founded in 1973 in Amman, the company has grown from a small workshop into a 3,200 m² factory. It has delivered more than 1,500 projects in Jordan and across the Middle East and North Africa, including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Libya and Algeria.
We work with architects, consultants and contractors from the door schedule onward, so that each opening gets a door that matches its rating, its use and its wall.

Fifty years of doors that began in one small workshop
In 1973 Daoud Jada opened a small metal workshop in Amman. The idea behind it was simple: a door should be built properly, fitted properly and do its job for as long as the building stands.
In the early years the workshop was small enough that every door passed through his hands. He judged a door by how it closed, how it sealed and how it held up after years of use, and that hands-on standard became the way the company works.
As architects and contractors began asking for fire-rated and security doors, the workshop grew with them, into today’s 3,200 m² factory and more than 1,500 projects in Jordan and across the Middle East and North Africa, from hospitals and hotels to government buildings.
More than fifty years on, the company still carries his name and his rule: no door leaves the factory until it is right.
